Your Neighbor, Bruce Wilson

Putting Madison Families First

Bruce Wilson is a lifelong resident of Madison who chose to raise his family here because of the great community we live in.

Bruce has served as either an appointed or elected volunteer in Madison for more than a decade. He knows how important it is to have experienced leadership on our local boards. His professional leadership successes and deep understanding of Madison make him the only choice for First Selectman.

As a successful independent businessman, member of the Madison Board of Education, and as a Selectman, Bruce Wilson has worked hard to make our town an even better place to live, work and raise a family.

What happens in Hartford matters

Bruce is the only Selectperson advocating to keep Madison zoning decisions in Madison

  • Bruce is the only Selectperson keeping an eye on Hartford and making sure we are prepared.

  • As First Selectman, Bruce Wilson will keep Hartford out of our town zoning decisions so we can make the decisions best for our families and small businesses.

Bruce and his three children attended Madison Public Schools

  • He knows firsthand how important education is to Madison Parents.

  • As a former Board of Education member, he knows the dedication of our entire Madison Public School staff and how education needs are changing.

  • He understands how important it is to get our students and teachers back into the classroom.

Bruce believes that government should be held accountable for every penny of Taxpayer money

  • Bruce will hold every department accountable and make sure you are getting the most from your investment in Madison.

  • The last thing Madison needs is higher taxes as we recover from the Covid Pandemic. Bruce Wilson will hold the line on spending, keeping taxes low.
