2019 Slate of Candidates
Keeping Madison Vibrant, Affordable, and Strong!
We seek to recruit civic-minded citizens for election or appointment to Town of Madison boards and commissions, supporting Republican candidates for office at the local and state level who will be responsive to the needs of Madison, actively encouraging the enrollment of Madison residents as Republicans, and encouraging unaffiliated voters to support Republican candidates.
Responsive Leadership with the Experience to Balance:
Board of Selectmen
“Madison is in good financial shape and facing no daunting social or economic problems. Thank you for your trust and confidence and I promise to continue to work hard both here in town and at the state Capitol to fight for what’s best for our wonderful town.”
Board of Finance
“I have been blessed to grow up in our great town of Madison, so it is an honor to serve our community as a member of the Board of Finance. I will review all matters before us through the lens of what is best for our community.”
Board of Education
“I am honored to be running for re-election on the Madison Board of Education. We benefit from great leadership and a high level of civic engagement. It would be my privilege and duty to maintain and improve Madison's level of quality in the face of fiscal challenge.”
“I hope to better the education of the students of Madison and thus help them achieve their potential. I will help support and formulate policies that are fiscally sound and supported by the citizens of Madison while supporting the students and educators.”
Zoning Board of Appeals
“As a ZBA member, it is my responsibility to be fair and balanced in evaluating variance applications that come before the Board. I feel property owners have the right to seek zoning variances in order to improve their property.”
“The ZBA, like all other offices of government, is there to serve the best interests of the people in the community; not the other way around. Truly serving on the board means making every effort to provide the most beneficial decision.”
Board of Assessment Appeals
“One of the best things about serving on this board is the bipartisanship and camaraderie as we work seamlessly for the betterment of our community. I truly enjoy working with each of my fellow board members and with the town residents who come before us.”
